A large part of my work currently is showcasing various bedding textile products.
Quilts, duvets, pillows, sheets – all of these and more can be modeled in 3d using a physically accurate cloth simulation software. When the model is created it can be accurately positioned and placed in a 3d scene, the simulation is so accurate it’s difficult to tell the resulting images from photographs.
These renderings are used for advertising, online and printed catalogues, online stores, product packaging.
Below you can see some examples of different bedding sets showcased in the same virtual set.
Of course it’s also possible to render the each product in a completely different 3d scene or make some adjustments to the colors of the set to match the design better.
Here are some examples of 3d renderings ‘on white’. These are frequently used on product packaging. The great thing is that you can have each one of your designs showcased in the exact same angle and have the same lighting setup making your range of products look very consistent.
Finally, here are some more random examples of my work over the years, just to show you some possibilities.
